Psychiatrists Rank the Most Realistic Psychopaths in Movies

Business Insider posted an article detailing a study done by Belgian psychiatry professor Samuel Leistedt to explore which movie characters embodied psychopathic traits best. Leistedt’s team watched over 400 movies to come to some final conclusions about this question. They determined three overall “winners”. However, the big surprise coming out of this study are the classic movie characters that did NOT make the list. They looked at horror films, dramas, thrillers, and even sports comedies. A comprehensive exploration indeed, but did they come up with a list that the movie going public would agree with?

Mark Reilly and John Rocha are here to break down this article and this study. They offer their thoughts on whether this study seems credible to them and if they agree with any of their choices and any of their omissions. Let us know what you think about this study, its conclusions and about what Rocha and Reilly had to say about it in the Comments section below.
